Mr. Ronald James Scott, 65, of 313 Greenwood Street in Eden, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at his home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Scott was born in Eden on March 28, 1947, a son of Harvey Richard Mabes and Mozelle Scott, both deceased. He worked in construction and was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his children, Donald Scott, Ronald Scott, Eric Byron and Jimmy Byron; his sisters, Phyllis Barrett and husband Junior and Dorothy Clark and husband John, all of Eden; his brother, Jerry Mabes of Eden; and his three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home and other times at the home of Phyllis Barrett, 313 Greenwood Street in Eden.
