Andrew Tyler Cardwell, 39, of Reidsville passed away on Friday, October 11,2024 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Hampton Heights Baptist Church.

Andrew was born in Eden on April 12, 1985, a son of Rodney Charles Cardwell and Cheryl Rorrer Cardwell. He was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church.  He worked as a forklift driver. He was an avid guitar player. He played with 2 separate bands when he was in his 20's. He was also a very good gamer. He won a couple of Mortal Combat tournaments. Andrew loved animals. He will be missed by his constant companions, Rufus and Moon.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Cheryl Rorrer Cardwell of Reidsville; his grandmother, Virginia Cardwell of Stoneville; his nieces, Angel Christley, Kristalyn and Kaitlyn Black; his nephew, Christian Black and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Charles Cardwell; his brother, Shane A. Cardwell and his grandparents, Ronnie and Jeanette Minter, James J. Cardwell and Norman Rorrer.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Friends of Eden Animal Shelter.
