Ann R. Midkiff 95, of Eden passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Friday, December 6, 2024, at Leaksville Moravian Church.  Entombment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 pm before the service at the church and other times at her residence.

Ann was born in Rockingham County on October 10, 1929, a daughter of Robert Vincent Rodgers and Elma Grogan Rodgers, both deceased.  She retired from Fieldcrest Cannon.  She was a lifelong devoted member of Leaksville Moravian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harley A. Midkiff; her sister, Bobbie Calhoun; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Midkiff and Matthew Midkiff.

Ann is survived by her son, Mike Midkiff (Kathy); her sisters, Faye Grose (Mickey), Peggy Ayers and Marie Melton (Wade); her grandchildren, Melanie Curry (Byron), Kourtney Walker (Jason); her great grandchildren, Alyssa Curry, Parker Allen, Libby Allen, Layne Allen, Bishop Collier and Drew Collier;  her great great grandchildren, Colton Curry and Ivory McNear; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
