Annabelle Wooten Hill, 88, of Eden passed away on Tuesday evening, July 20, 2021 at UNC Rockingham Health Care.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday, July 23, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Friday and other times at the home of Amos Hill, 247 Farrell Street in Eden.

Annabelle was born in Walnut Cove on April 13, 1933, a daughter of Jim Bob Wooten and Nora Campbell Wooten, both deceased.  She was a homemaker and farmer most of her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Amos Joseph Hill, Sr.; her son, John Howard Hill; her siblings, Harold Johnson Wooten, Sydney James Wooten, Margaret Eldridge; and her great grandchild, Taylor Dunlap.

Annabelle is survived by her children, Amos Joseph Hill, Jr. and wife Denise of Eden, Bobbie Sue Hill and husband Clifford of Eden, Debbie Shelton and husband Edwin of Mayodan, JoAnn West and husband Jerry of Orlando, FL and Kaye Smith and husband Steve of Randleman; her daughter-in-law, Carol Hill; her grandchildren, Amos James Wilson, John Austin Hill, Lee Ann Dunlap and husband Tony, Leslie Amber West, Edwin Dwayne Shelton and wife Kristie; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Dunlap, Thomas Dunlap, Will Shelton, Bella Shelton, Nick Shelton; and her great great grandchild, Koby Garmon.
