Annie Laura Dyson Smith, 86, of Eden passed away on Wednesday morning, December 22, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service at 11 am Friday, December 24, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Camp Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Caswell County.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Annie was born in Iredell County on June 3, 1935, a daughter of Richard and Laura Dyson, both deceased.  She was retired from Stoneville Furniture Factory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Lewis Calvin Smith; her sons, Richard Smith, James Smith and Steve Smith; and her brothers, Jasper Dyson, Glenn Dyson and R.C. Dyson.

Annie is survived by her children, Candy Southern and husband Harold of Eden, William Smith and wife Betty of Madison, Sissy Mabe of Ruffin, Gaye Price of New York; her grandchildren, Rose, Boo, Bubba, Crystal, April, Buck and 14 more; great grandchildren, Willie, Micah, Ana, Billy, Heaven, Maddie, Candy Cane, Joe Joe, Libby, Andrew and 18 more; and several great great grandchildren.
