Arnie Thomas Roberts, 71, of Eden passed away on Tuesday morning, June 15, 2021 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Dan View Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm on Thursday before the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Arnie was born in Eden on June 24, 1949, a son of James Roberts and Katherine Ferris Roberts, both deceased.  He was retired from Pillowtex Inc.   He was a member of Old Time Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Martha Hundley Roberts of the home; his grandchild, Hilary Kennon (Daniel Carroll); his great grandchild, Gracie Kennon; his sister-in-law, Kathye Graham; his nephew, Jack Graham; his great niece, Brittany Robertson (Mike); his great great nephew, Eli Robertson; and his siblings, L.B. Parish (Mickey) of Mebane, Lily Mae Williams of Durham and Dahlia Straughn of Mebane.
