Audrey Ann Jarrell Purdy, 57, of Eden passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at North Side Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Norman officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm before the service at the church and other times at the residence.

Audrey was born in Eden on September 19, 1968, a daughter of George Dillard Jarrell, Jr. and the late Patricia Wallace Jarrell.  She worked at Virginia Logistics.

Audrey is survived by her children, Brittany Diane Little of Eden, Santashia Cierra Penn of New York, Dustin Cory Odell of Collinsville, VA; her father George "Junior Jarrell (Winnie) of Reidsville; her siblings, Darla Ann Jarrell Crumpton (John) of Eden, Sarah Michelle Denny (Mize) of Wentworth, Crystal Lee Denny Jones of Wentworth, George Dean Jarrell of Eden;  her grandchildren, Tyler Marshall Ragan, Jacob Purdy, Brantley Marshall Ragan, Wyatt Marshall Ragan, Maverick James Porter, Autumn Marie Porter; her uncles, Larry Wallace, Charles Richard "Ricky" Jarrell (Linda), Garry Lee Jarrell, Sr.; and her aunt, Deloris Ann Jarrell Wallace.
