Austin Matthew Grubb, 22, of Eden passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at UNC Rockingham Health Care.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday at the funeral home and other times at 501 N. Ayersville Road in Mayodan.

Austin was born in Eden on May 23, 1999, a son of Debra Massey and the late Eugene Vernon Grubb.  He was a stock clerk at Food Lion.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Madelynn Lou Elizabeth.

He is survived by his son, Noah Matthew; his mother, Debra Kay Massey of Mayodan, his siblings, Ashley Grubb of Stoneville, Tiffany Mundy of Greensboro, Crystal Billings of Eden, Ronald Mundy and wife Jamie of Rockingham, NC, Edward Mundy of Eden; his grandparents, James and Frances Massey of Eden; his aunt, Gail Richardson and husband Harry of Rockingham, NC; his uncle, James Massey Jr. and wife Lori of Greensboro; and his nieces and nephews, Levi Smith, Lacey McCollum, Rileigh Baker, Ava Baker, Jacob Clowers, Jaxson Billings, Christopher Mundy and Alexzander Mundy.
