Barbara Jarrett French Biggs, 73, of Reidsville, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Gibson House, Hospice of Rockingham County.

A memorial service will be held at 12 pm Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Lighthouse Gospel Church, 2346 NC 87, Reidsville, NC.  The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12 pm before the service at the church.

Barbara was born in Eden on January 21, 1949, a daughter of Pomp Jarrett, Sr. and Irene Hall Jarrett, both deceased.  She was retired from South Print in Reidsville.  She was a founding member of Lighthouse Gospel Church.  She was a very kind and compassionate person who always took care of everyone around her.  She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne French; her second husband, Bobby Biggs, and her brother, Pomp Jarrett, Jr.

Barbara is survived by her son, Chris French and wife Nikki of Walkertown; her sisters, Trilby Clark and husband Bob of Las Vegas and Kim Jarrett of Swansboro, NC; her granddaughters, Krista and Kailee French; her special family members, Billy Craddock, Amanda and Gary Clark, Lori and Lynn Collins, Noah and Kaelyn Clark and her lifetime friends, Dixie Cook and Diane Thomas.  She will be greatly missed.
