Barbara "Bobbie Gail" Terry Hooker, 78, of Eden passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Gibson House Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Overlook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Thursday before the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Bobbie Gail was born in Spray (now Eden) on August 23, 1944, a daughter of Henry Wiseman Terry and Velna Eanes Terry, both deceased.  She was a retired customer service representative with Time Warner Cable.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Edwin Hooker, her sister, Mary Barnes and her brother, Howard Terry.

She is survived by her daughters, Tamara Fix and husband Frank, Rhonda Hooker and Robin Jones, all of Eden; her sisters, Mildred Tilley and husband Elwood of Reidsville, Judy Brown of Eden; her brothers, Jimmy Terry and wife Tina of Eden and Stevie Terry and wife Diane of Eden; her sister-in-law, Betty Sue Winkelman and husband Richard; her grandchildren, Mark Fix, Ron Fix and wife Lauren, Andrew Fix, Dustin Cochran and wife Hannah, Avalon Hopkins, Lauren Hopkins, Kyra Jones and Kloe Jones; and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Dakota, Lacie, Lennon, Maggie, Josie, Stella, Patrick, Aria, Brooklyn and Kamila.
