Barry James Walker, 57, of Ruffin passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Cone Health.

A service of remembrance will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 pm before the service at the funeral home at other times at the residence.

Barry was born in Reidsville on February 21, 1963, a son of Bobby McGehee Walker and Nancy Steven Walker, both deceased.  He formerly worked for Winn Dixie and Richards Meats.

He is survived by his children, Jamie Walker May and husband Jeremy of Reidsville, Anna Walker of Ruffin and Jonathan Walker of Greensboro; his siblings, Terry Walker and wife Annie of Reidsville, Garry Walker of Ruffin, Kenny Walker and wife Lori of Madison and Debbie Young and husband Craig of Reidsville; and his grandchildren, Maggie Brown and Savannah Walker.
