Bernice Ann McBride Berkley, 87, of Reidsville passed away on Thursday morning. November 16, 2023 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2pm at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Gospel Road Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm on Friday evening, November 17, 2023 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Bernice was born in Reidsville on March 9. 1936 the daughter of Allen McBride and Eleanor Paschal, both deceased.  She worked in textiles at Chase Bag Co. and Pluma.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her grandson, Colton Travis and her fur baby, Kristie.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Boaz of Eden, Kim O'Neal and husband, Danny of Eden and Kelly Bailey and husband, Curtis of Reidsville; her brother, Barney McBride of Ahoskie, NC and her grandchildren, Benjamin Roach, Blake Travis and Braxton Eaton.
