Betty Jean Sessor Millner, 84, of Stoneville passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Wednesday before the service and other times at the residence.

Betty was born in Switchback, West Virginia on August 1, 1939, a daughter of Ed Sessor and Carrie Lee Eldridge Sessor, both deceased.  She was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Millner; her sons, Kenneth Thomas Dick, and Eddie Dick; her siblings, Buddy Joe Sessor, Charles Lee Sessor; and her great grandchild, Hunter Chesney Griffin.

Betty is survived by her son, Roy Hugh Dick of the home; her siblings, Jean Light (Walter) of Bassett, VA, Roy Lee Sessor (Mollie) of Collinsville, Linda Sessor of Rocky Mount, VA; Tina Tuggle of Greensboro and Bill Sessor (Pat) of Bassett, VA; her grandchildren, Nicole Lambert, and Lindsey Lambert; her seven great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, friends and her pet cat, Susie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
