Mr. Billy Joe Jones, 50, of Eden passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at his residence.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4pm on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. The family will visit with friends 1 hour prior to the service from 3pm until 4pm.

Billy was born in Reidsville on September 12, 1971, a son of Joe Quinces Jones and Ann Stanley Jones, both deceased. He worked as an upholstery installer and in home construction.

He is survived by his sisters, Maria Villalpondo and husband Rickey of Reidsville, Judy Keller and husband Don of Wilmington, NC, Jo Beth Jones of Reidsville, Jo Ann Justice and husband Steve of Reidsville, Nancy Travis and husband Leroy of GA, Kathy Land and husband Audie of Eden, Tina McDuffey and husband Randolph of GA, and Betty Mays and husband J.R. of Reidsville; his brothers, Tommy Jones and wife Cathy of Reidsville, Joe Jones Jr. of Eden, and Emmitt Jones and wife Ann of Myrtle Beach; his special nephew, Bubba Durham, and A.J. Land, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Billy was predeceased in death by his stepfather, Henry Pruitt; his sisters, Ruby Clark, Martha Busick, and Anita Bailey; and his brother, Phillip Grubbs.
