Bonnie Sue Barnes Odell, 69, of Eden passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Duke Hospital in Durham.

A funeral service will be held on January 5, 2026, at 2pm at Full Gospel Church in Reidsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 2 pm at the church and other times at the residence.

Bonnie was born on November 1,1956 a daughter of Grady Ambrose Barnes and Elizabeth Carter Barnes, both deceased. She was a member of Full Gospel Church.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Conway Odell and wife, Amanda of Eden; her siblings Shelby Smith and husband, Ronnie, Arnold Barnes and Tammy Williams all of Eden; her grandson, Taylor "T.J." Odell and wife, Jessica; her nieces, Ariel Williams, Carolee Vyhnanek and husband, Robert and Hannah LeSueur and husband, Paul; her nephew, Joseph "Joe" Barnes; her great nieces Lexie Williams, Millie Clark and Rayne Smith and her great nephews, Jimmy Carter, Daniel Walker and Lee Chavis.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by her brothers, Ronald and Johnny Barnes.
