Mr. Carlon Wayne Long, 73, of Eden passed away at his home.

A service of remembrance will be held at 4 pm on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Torrey Easler officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm at the funeral home before the service.

Mr. Long was born in Eden on October 26, 1946, a son of Thomas Luther Long, Sr. and Etta May Grant Long, both deceased.  He was a self-employed carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Long, David Long, Junior Long, Jesse Long, Garland Long, Ruth Cole and Dorothy Mizer.

He is survived by his daughters, Malinda Duvall and husband Jason of Maryland and Donna Menashe and husband Moshe of Texas; his brother, Bobby Long and wife Geraldine of Ruffin; his grandchildren, Taylor Duvall, Brad Duvall, Evanthia Karambelas and Teddy Karambelas.
