Carolyn Churchill Taylor, 73, of Eden passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Gibson House of Rockingham County.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Overlook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Monday, April 18, 2022, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born in Leaksville on August 31, 1948, the daughter of Elmer Scott Churchill and Ruth Talbott Churchill, both deceased.  She was a woman of faith and a member of Leaksville Christian Church.  She loved children and cared for many children in her home for many years.  She loved to crochet and do needlepoint.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Taylor.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Kevin Taylor, and his wife Jennifer of Eden.
