Charese Martin, 68, of Eden passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Robinson Memorial United Holy Church, 521 Turner Street, Eden, NC.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1 pm before the service at the church and other times at the residence.

Charese was born in Eden on November 25, 1952, a daughter of Raymond "Boot" Martin and Elizabeth Hairston Martin, both deceased.  She was retired from Frontier Spinning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond Martin, Jr., Clarence Martin, Ernest Lee Martin, Kenneth Ray Martin, Jimmy Martin, Charles Martin; and her grandchild, Raekwon Martin.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Martin and Alisha Martin, both of Eden; her siblings, Mary Gaston of Roanoke, VA, Iris Graves of Eden, Janice Martin of Eden, Mary Wade of Eden, Sharon Millner of Eden, Diane Clodfelter of Eden, George Earl Martin of Roanoke, VA and Michael Blackstock of Delaware; her grandchildren, Kelsey Martin, Qwame Martin, Talorea Martin; her great grandchildren, Dontae Martin, Kemeries Martin and Legend Martin; and sister-in-law, Cloria Martin.
