Colin Luther Brooks, 66, of Stoneville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 14, 2021.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Howard Owens and Pastor Jesse Butcher officiating.  Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Wednesday before the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Colin was born in Surry County on September 26, 1954, a son of Raymond Calvin Brooks and Wanda Cleary Brooks, both deceased.  He was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church and loved his Lord. He served at the church as an usher, greeter, prayer warrior and soul winner. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Granger.

Colin is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy Marie Brooks; his children, Benjamin Brooks of Roanoke and Margie Remocaldo and husband Aaron of Winona Lake, IN; his siblings, Raymond Brooks, Jr. and wife Lea of Trinity, Ralph Brooks and wife Gail of Norwood, NC and Mike Brooks and wife Tonya of High Point; his grandchildren, Katelyn Conklin and husband William, Bryanna Brooks, Caleb Remocaldo, Avery Remocaldo, Sandra Remocaldo, Valentina Remocaldo; his aunt, Virginia Holbrook; his sister-in-law Penny Darnell and husband Rocky; his brother-in-law, Gerald Brooks and wife Becky; nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and numerous cousins.
