Connie Neal-Applegate, 68, of Wentworth, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her home.

Connie was born in Wichita, Texas on April 2, 1952, a daughter of John Henry Mize, Sr. and Elizabeth Malone Mize, both deceased.  She formerly worked as a ward clerk at Martinsville Hospital. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Henry Mize, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Juanita Reynolds and husband Duaine Reynolds Jr. of Reidsville and Marie Becerra of Mt. Holly, NC; her grandchildren, Duaine Reynolds III, Jerry Reynolds, Noah Reynolds, Helen Reynolds, Julio Becerra, Anhelena Becerra, Coby Vaughan; and her sisters, Sherry and Donna.
