Dana Shanta Bowman Gentry, 46, of Mayodan, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at her residence.

There will be no services.

Dana was born in Eden on October 24, 1977, a daughter of David Bowman and Judy Bowman Land.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, John Wesley Bowman, Kaitlyn Rose Gentry and Alex William Gentry; her brothers, Kevin Jeffrey Bowman (Angie), Richard Dean Bowman (Corina) and Travis Bowman; her stepbrother, Leroy Land; her half-sister, Lora Bowman; and her grandchild, Alana Rose Gentry; her niece, Lexie Bowman; and her nephews, Jeffrey Allen Bowman, Jacob Curtis Bowman and Zachary Joseph Bowman.
