Obituary

Danny Thomas Fulcher, 71, of Stoneville passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital.

In honor of Danny's wishes, there will be no service.

Danny was born in Leaksville on May 24, 1950, a son of Thomas Jackson Fulcher and Mildred Adams Fulcher, both deceased.  He was a diesel mechanic and owner of his own truck repair business.  He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America, serving as a scout leader from 1983 until 2001.  He was Wood Badge trained and held a Doctorate Commissioner of Science in Scouting.  He was a member of the Order of the Arrow BSA.  He was also a past president of the El Bethel Ruritan Club.

After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time transporting homeless pets from shelters through the Drive 4 Shelter program, giving animals a second chance at life.  He also spent time blacksmithing and helping his friends with mechanics.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Fulcher.

Danny is survived by his wife Sue Boles Fulcher of the home; his sons, Christopher Thomas Fulcher and wife Dell Marie of Stoneville and Robert "Bobby" Thomas Fulcher and wife Karen of Germanton; his sister, Cheryl Lemons of Stoneville; his grandchildren, Tyler Jacob Fulcher, Holden Thomas Fulcher and Daniel Carper; his step granddaughter, Georgia Brame; his fur babies, Lilly, Missy, Boots and grand fur babies, Chloe and Andy.
