David Eugene Allen, 73, of Madison passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at his residence.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

David was born in Campbell County on November 24, 1947 the son of Thomas Morgan Allen and Betty Lewis Allen, both deceased. He was an Air Force Veteran and he later retired from Pluma where he was an operator in the dye house.

David is survived by his wife, Deborah Jean Johnson Allen of the home; his daughters, Melanie Allen Martin of Fairfax, VA and Belinda Pruitt of Raleigh, NC; his sister, Sheila Spencer of Bassett, VA and his grandchildren, Jordan Pruitt and Chloe Rizzo.

In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his sisters, Carol Sue Young and Sandra Cassell.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Sandy Ridge Fire Department, 5086 NC 704 Sandy Ridge, NC 27046
