David Wayne Meeks, 63, of Ridgeway, VA passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1pm at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Goodwill Church Cemetery on Morgan Ford Road in Ridgeway, VA.

David was born in Eden on March 29, 1959 a son of Floyd Eugene Meeks and Judith Terry Brown. He worked in maintenance at AFG Glass Company. David was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He dearly loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Ward Meeks of the home; his children, Felicia and Mike of Eden, Jennifer of Eden, Amber and Brad of Martinsville, VA, Aaron and Brittany of Ridgeway, VA and Amanda and Robert of Ruffin; his mother, Judith Terry Brown of Eden; his siblings, Michael Meeks of Eden, Richard Meeks and wife, Kimberly of Stoneville and Cindy Morey and Husband, Bill of Ridgeway, VA and his grandchildren, Shaylee, Austin, Addison, Aaden, Adalynn, Zariah, Grayson, Talyn, Mason, Alder and Baby Emerson is on the way.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 until 8pm at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
