David Phillip Pulliam, Sr., 80, of Reidsville passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 2pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Eden. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, May 31, 2022, from 6 until 8pm at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home and other times at the home of his daughter, Sheila Christian, 2228 US 29 Bus in Reidsville.

David was born in Stoneville, NC on May 4, 1942, a son of Silas Pulliam and Virginia Spencer Pulliam, both deceased. He worked as a machine operator at Spray Cotton Mill.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Christian Pulliam of the home; his daughters, Sheila Christian and fiancé, Thomas Jones of Reidsville and Deborah Ivey of Ruffin; his sons, Daniel Christian of Reidsville, Richard Ivey and wife, Carolyn of Eden and Paul Ivey and wife, Nicole of Reidsville; his sisters, April Hurd and husband, Butch of Eden, Julie Pulliam of Eden, Janie Carter of Eden and Rebecca Burnette and husband, Jerry of Eden; his brother, Johnny Pulliam and wife, Linda of Eden; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brothers, Matthew Pulliam, Ronnie Pulliam, Jimmy Pulliam and Jewell Pulliam and his sisters, Nannie Corum and Ellen Craddock.
