Deborah Anne Rodgers Austin, 72, of Eden passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Gibson House in Wentworth.

There will be no formal services at this time.

Deborah was born in Eden on December 23, 1953, a daughter of Jack Rodgers and Joy Chatman Rodgers, both deceased. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Albert “Donnie” Austin and her brother, David Rodgers.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Bowman, Michael Hall and Christopher Rodgers all of Eden; her sister, Donna Tate of Eden; her brother, Darrin Rodgers of Eden and her grandchildren, Zach Schlotzhauer, Madyson Price, Ashlyn Woolwine, Miley Bowman, Leyluhn Bowman and Caydence Rodgers.

Boone and Cooke Funeral Home is serving the Austin family.
