Mr. Dee Morse "Moses" Robertson, III., 82, of Axton, VA., passed away early Sunday morning, December 17, 2023 at Stanleytown Health and Rehab Center in Bassett.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Overlook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after the service.

Moses was born in Axton, VA on October 19, 1941, a son of Dee Morse Robertson, Jr. and Lottie Davis Robertson, both deceased.  He was a farmer and co-owner of Robertson's Grocery & Farm Supply. He had a servant's heart and was very patriotic. His motto was "For God and Country".

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Marie Robertson; his sister, Masie Miller and husband Vernon; his brother, Raleigh Robertson, Sr. and wife Polly; his son-in-law, Matthew Kolinski; and his grand dogs, Sampson and Genesis

Moses is survived by his daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Robertson Kolinski of Axton, VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the church or charity of the donor's choice.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to family and friends as well as the staff of Stanleytown Rehab & Nursing Center for their compassionate care of Moses during his stay there.
