Delores Faye Walker, 92, of Eden passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at her home.

A graveside service of remembrance will be held at 2 pm Friday, April 12, 2024, at Dan View Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at her home.

Delores was born in Spray (now Eden) on March 10, 1932, a daughter of Qucell Robinson and Alice Clifton Robinson, both deceased.  She was a homemaker and volunteered at Draper Elementary School for many years.  She loved flowers and spending time in her garden.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Ernest Walker; and her siblings, Betty Cook, Barbara Stratton and Marvin Robinson.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Susan Musgrave and husband Terry of Lexington and Sarah Hosmer of South Boston, VA; her grandchildren, David Musgrave and wife Rebekah, Debbie Hunt and husband Todd, Alice Shumate, Jonathan Cassell and wife Katie; her great grandchildren, Darren, Savannah, Wyatt, Morgan, Jeremiah, Tyler, Ian, Drake, Skylar, Aiden, Kendall; and her nine great great grandchildren.

A special thanks is extended to Phyllis Woods as well as the staff of Ancora Compassionate Care for their compassionate care given to Delores during her illness.
