Dianne Wright, 74, of McLeansville passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Ashton Health & Rehabilitation Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at home, 4932 Streamside Drive in McLeansville.

Dianne was born in Eden on December 28, 1950, a daughter of Percey Franklin Wilson and Sarah Smith Wilson, both deceased.  She graduated from Morehead High School in 1968.  She was a great person, a great friend, loving mother and great provider.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Walter Lester Wright; and her siblings, Edward Wilson, Lynwood Wilson, Phillip Wilson, Paul Wilson, Barbara Walden and Nancy Calahan.

Dianne is survived by her son, John Wright (Becky) of McLeansville; her sisters, Peggy Wright of Eden and Yvonne Atkins of Madison; and her grandchildren, Clay Wright (Allie) and Kendyl Wright.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Friends of Eden Animal Shelter, 205 Boone Road, Eden, NC 27288.
