Donna Perdue Pruitt, 59, of Reidsville passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 pm on Saturday before the service at the funeral home and other times at 1213 Patterson Street in Reidsville.

Donna was born in Newton, NC on September 26, 1966, a daughter of James Perdue and the late Sharon Stamey Perdue. She worked for Stadler Grocery. She loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time playing Bingo and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her husband, Roger Dean Pruitt.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Justin “JP” Pruitt (India) and Jordan Pruitt, all of Reidsville; her father, James Perdue (Rebecca) of Reidsville; her sister, Lisa Surles of Reidsville; her sister-in-law, Rose Trent (Todd) of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Ryleigh Daniels and Jace Pruitt; her nieces, Harley Surles, Kayla Cecil; and her great nieces, Arianna Cooper, Alexxis Pruitt, Ivory Cecil and Layla Cecil.
