Doris "June" Ferguson Earles, 88, of Mayodan, passed away early Wednesday morning, September 27, 2023 at her residence.

A memorial service will be 1:00PM Monday, October 2, 2023, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 12pm until 1pm at the funeral home.

June was born in Eden on November 9, 1934, a daughter of the late Reaves Ferguson and Naomi Howerton Ferguson. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, but later decided to work at Moses Cone Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Willie" Silas Earles, as well as several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Linda Brown and husband Peter of High Point, Randy Earles of Eden, Jackie Earles of Eden, Judy Earles of Mayodan, Gina Clark of Mayodan, and Joey Earles Brown and wife Stephanie of Madison; sisters, Jane Pugh of Eden, and Faye Montgomery of Eden; brother, James Ferguson of Eden; grandchildren, Dawn Harris, Callie Earles, Tracy White, and Laura Clark; great grandchildren, Grace Harris, Krista Proctor, Cameron Wilson, MacKinzie and Mason White; and her great-great grandchild, Dalyn Proctor.
