Dwayne Emmerson Salmons, 58, of Cascade, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his residence.

There will be no formal services.  The family will receive friends at the residence.

Dwayne was born in Eden on September 5, 1967, a son of Doris Walker Salmons and the late Virgil Emmerson Salmons.  He was the regional Maintenance Director at Spring Arbor.  He was a strong, kind and gentle man.  His love for his family was his first priority.  Dwayne loved good conversation and coffee.  His true passion was the love and welfare of animals.  His hobbies were cooking and gardening.  His favorite pastime was watching football.  We know his light will shine on.

Dwayne is survived by his wife, Ginger Parker Salmons of the home; his daughter, Frances Isabelle Salmons of Cascade; his mother Doris Salmons of Cascade; his brother, Kenny Salmons of Eden; and his special niece, Jasara Woods.
