Dwight Duncan Lea, 88, of Stoneville passed away on Monday morning, December 13, 2021 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.

To honor his wishes, there will be no services.

Dwight was born in Leaksville on December 30, 1932, a son of Jesse H. Lea and Carrie Flanagan Lea, both deceased.  He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.  He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 25 years.  He retired from Fieldcrest Mills.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Garleen Vernon, Becky Isley, J.V. Lea, Pinky Lea, Buzzy Lea and Selby Lea.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Dorothy Norris Lea of the home; his daughter, Deborah Wilson and husband Peter of Stoneville; his son, Donald Lea and wife Teresa of Eden; his grandson, Peter Wilson IV and wife Kylee; his great grandson, Lane and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Wounded Warriors.
