Edna Keister Skidmore, 98, of Stoneville passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at UNC Rockingham Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 2pm at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ridge-View Cemetery

Edna was born on March 10, 1925 the daughter of Edmond David Keister and Elizabeth Brown Keister, both deceased. She worked as a telephone operator for Bell South.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Shelby Skidmore of Stoneville; and her grandchildren, Carol Thompson and husband, Dwayne, Christina Keith and Linda Yarbrough and husband, Chuckie.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Skidmore; and her granddaughter, Mary Jean Keith.

The family will receive friends at the service.
