Elizabeth "Betsy" Southworth Shively, 75, of Stoneville passed away early Saturday morning, December 7, 2024, at her residence.

A service of remembrance will be held at 2 pm Friday, December 13, 2024, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm before the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Betsy was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 23, 1949, the daughter of Robert Vincent Southworth and Jane Mudge Southworth, both deceased.  She was the owner of the former Randy's Florist and later Hidden Treasures.  She was the President of the VFW Women's Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Neal Shively, Sr. of the home; her children, Julie Shively (Jodi Moe) of Gastonia, NC, Kenneth Neal Shively, Jr. (Cheryl) of Ash, NC, Saundra Hernandez of Stoneville, Christy Reyes (Roberto) of Stoneville; her brothers, Jack Southworth and Rod Southworth (Sheryl); her grandchildren, Billie Jo (Ben), Cody, Jamie (Wilber), Lucio, Emily, Roberto Angel, and Mariana; her great grandchildren, Alejandro, Jazlynn and Nyla; and her nephew, Colton Southworth.
