Eva Smith Paschal, 97, of the Cherry Grove Community of Caswell County, passed away, Sunday afternoon, March 12, 2023 at the Brian Center in Yanceyville.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 1pm at the Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (New Life) in Caswell County. There will be no visitation.

Eva was born in Rockingham County on January 6, 1926, a daughter of Arthur Lee Smith and Lessie Hall Smith, both deceased. She retired from Glen Raven Mills.

Eva is survived by her son in law, Kenneth Smith of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Troy Wayne Smith and wife, Nicole of Anderson and Michele Page and husband, Larry of Elon; her great grandchildren, Ethan Page and Cassie, Kalah Smith, Ferrin Page and Joshua Smith; her great greatgrandchildren, Elijah Smith, Jalen Smith and Wyatt Page and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Drewie Paschal; her daughter, Delilah Smith; her sisters, Alma Sartin and Nina Wilson and her brother, Hilton Smith.

The family would like to thank the staff at East Way Family Care for all the kindness shown to Eva.
