Evelyn Elliott White, 95, of Stoneville passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 12 pm Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12 pm before the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Evelyn was born in Stuart, Virginia on September 6, 1928, a daughter of Russell Elliott and Lucy Pack Elliott, both deceased.  She retired as a supervisor from Central Telephone Co.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William "Bill" Wesley White; and her siblings, Mary Hopper, Virginia England, Clemmon Elliott, Tom Elliott, Betty Jacobson, Mattie Heffinger and Hugh Elliott.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Lisa Tucker of Stoneville, Bill White Jr. (Laura of Flowery Branch, GA and Denise Burroughs (Ronald) of New Point, VA; her brother, Rae Elliott of Eden; her grandchildren, Chris White (Becky), Jon White (Amy), Brittany Tucker (Chelsea) and Josh White; several great grandchildren and her special caregivers, Patty Terry and Tammy Evans.
