Faye Minter Hill, 80, of Eden passed away on Tuesday morning, May 4, 2021 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Overlook Cemetery.  Mrs. Hill will lie in state at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 until 5 pm and Thursday from 9 am until 1 pm for any who would like to pay their respects.

Faye was born in Roanoke, Virginia on May 14, 1940, the daughter of Robert Haley Minter and Alice Lee Allen Minter.  She was a retired receptionist.  She loved to spend time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Hill.  They shared a wonderful life together.

Faye is survived by her daughters, Donna Wallace and husband Lenny of Rocky Mount, VA and Jan Travis and husband Mike of Eden; her brother, Robert Wayne Minter of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Megan Eller, Will Wallace, Cody Travis, Jackson Travis and her great grandson, Jase Michael Dooley.
