Forrest Ray Barton, 83, of Eden passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his residence.

There will be a memorial service for Mr. Barton at a later date.

Forrest was born in Eden on October 21, 1937 a son of Abraham Lincoln Barton and Carrie Spencer Alley, both deceased. He retired from Genesis Aviation as a machinist.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Everley Barton of the home; his son, Jeffrey Barton and wife, Jennifer of Eden; his brother, Richard Barton and wife, Patricia of Florida and his grandchildren, Sarah Barton and Zachary Barton.

In addition to his parents, Forrest was predeceased by his brothers, Link Barton and Jimmy Barton and his sister, Charlotte Westling.
