Frances Gayle Wray Ayers, 76 of Eden, NC passed away on July 24, 2022 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, NC.

A Graveside Service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville, NC on Wednesday July 27, 2022 at 1 pm. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening July 26, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, NC from 6 pm until 8 pm.

Frances was born in the old Leaksville Hospital in what is now known as Eden, NC on November 30, 1945. She worked for over 20 years assisting Dr. Dawson as a Nurse Technician in the Rockingham Child's Clinic and attended New Life Chapel in Stoneville, NC. She was well known for fixing anyone she met a good meal and was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend. She is truly loved and missed.

Surviving her are her children; Todd Corum (Angela Evans), Paula Atkins, Paige Curry (Leon Curry), Mark Corum, sister Ginger Powell, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents Samuel Francis Wray and Myrtle Martin Wray, husband Frank Ayers and her son Jason Rector.
