Mr. Fred June Hicks, 90, passed away early Thursday morning, March 2, 2023, at his residence.

A native of Stokes County, Fred was born June 5, 1932, to the late William Edgar Hicks and Stacie Joyce Hicks. Fred served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from Pepsi Cola as a manager. Fred was a 32° Master Mason and a member of Asheboro Lodge #699 A.F. & A.M., the Oasis Shrine Temple, and the Greensboro Scottish Rite.

He is survived by his son Mike Hicks and wife Elaine of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Chelsea Taylor of Winston-Salem; great-grandchild, Ellie Taylor also of Winston-Salem; and his Masonic brother and loving friends, Rodney and Samantha Hardy.
