Garlan Ray Mull, 63, of Eden passed away on Wednesday evening, May 26, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical center.

A service of remembrance will be held at 3 pm Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm on Sunday before the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Garlan was born in Morganton, NC on October 8, 1957, the son of Nolan Mull and Betty Lingerfelt Mull.  He was retired from the NC Dept. of Transportation.  He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.  He loved fishing, painting and spending time on his four wheeler with his grandson, "Cotton Head".

He was preceded in death by his son, Houston Levi Mull.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Slaydon Mull; his children, Holly Warner and husband Zach, Rebekah Daniels and husband Matthew and Anthony Mull and wife Amanda; his parents, Nolan and Betty Mull; his sisters, Audrey McCrickard and husband Mike, Wanda Haymore and husband Bobby; his grandsons, Colton "Cotton Head" Warner and Trevor Daniels (on the way); and lots of "adopted" daughters.
