Gary Lee Ward went home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2024 at the Eden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

There will be no services.

Gary was born in Leaksville on May 13, 1953 to Vernell Roberts Ward and Eddie Lee Ward, both deceased.  He was a US Army veteran.  He enjoyed playing the guitar and jamming with his friends.  He was an avid wrestling fan and loved to make jokes.  He was also a stepfather and grandfather.  He will be greatly missed.

In addition to hie parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Clarencene Ward; his uncles, Charlie Ward (Lucy) and Alfred Ward (Doris) and his aunt, Ruth Ward Hylton (John).

He is survived by his cousins, and his good friend, Jerry Shelton.
