Glenda Ellison Overby Boyd, 63, of Pelham passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 5 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Redemption Road Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Bray officiating.

Glenda was born in Rockingham on February 22, 1961, a daughter of Paul Taylor Ellison and Irene Curry Ellison, both deceased.  She worked in the Home Health field as a CNA.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Trina Lynn Ellison and her granddaughter, Trina Leann Overby.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Donald Ray Boyd of the home; her son Daniel Wayne Overby of Eden; her siblings, Sonya Ellison of Eden, Richard Wayne Ellison I (Cathy Pike) of Eden, Paul Pernell Ellison (Sandra) of Eden; her granddaughter, Carolina Angela Boyd; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boone & Cooke Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
