Glenda Joan Weidow Engle, 85, formerly of Eden, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Burmuda Commons Health & Rehabilitation Center.

To honor her wishes, there will be no service.

Glenda was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on April 30, 1940, a daughter of William Franklin Wiedow and Margaret E. Carey Weidow, both deceased.  She was a member of Christian Fellowship Assembly of God Church.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David Joseph Engle; and her siblings, William F. Weidow, Jr., Margaret E. Weidow Rowles, Kathleen D. Weidow Gianfarcaro, Harry A. Weidow, Ruth E. Weidow Marmo, Jane A. Weidow Marcino, Nora E. Weidow Lamoreaux, Robert F. Weidow, Paul T. Weidow, Virginia D. Weidow Kibbler, Edwin H. Weidow, Audrey M. Weidow Conwell, John J. Weidow and Geraldine J. Weidow Stone.

She is survived by her children, Shelby J. Engle Hudspeth, Mark J. Engle (Annette), Peter J. Engle (Katie), David J. Engle, Jr. (Crystal) and Esther J. Engle Harden; and her grandchildren, Larecia, Ashleigh, Farre, Bryan, Michael, Peyton, James and her great grandchildren.
