Glendola Murray Clark Boyte, 92, of Eden passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Eden Rehabilitation & Healthcare.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1 pm before the service and other times at 356 Walter Chambers Street in Eden.

Glendola was born in Martinsville, Virginia on October 7, 1932, a daughter of Robert Franklin Murray and Ethel Austin Murray, both deceased.  She retired from Fieldcrest Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raeford M. Boyte, and her siblings, Bobby Murray and Dale Lawson.

Surviving are her children, Darrell Boyte (Jennifer) of Eden, Darnell Stewart (Jeff) of Eden, Curtis Clark of Stoneville, Linda Lay (Tom) of Eden; her sister, Geraldine Shockley of Eden; her grandchildren, Gregory Smoak (Lauren), Conrad Clark (Jennifer), Corbett Clark, Cameron Clark (Summar), Brandon Stewart (Tiffanie), Caitlyn Boyte, Hunter Boyte (Beth); and her great grandchildren, Greta Smoak, Gabbie Clark, Addie Clark, Kennedy Clark, Emma Grace Clark, Colton Clark, Braddox Stewart and Tegan Stewart.
