Henry Leon Martin, 70, of Ruffin passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Piedmont Baptist Church.

Henry was born in Lowell Massachusetts on August 5, 1956, a son of Henry Martin and Rachel Rose Martin, both deceased. He was an active member of Piedmont Baptist Church. He was dedicated to the Lord and served Him through the church music ministry where he played guitar and sung for services.

Henry is survived by his wife, Ruby Sawyers Martin; his children, Joseph, Adam (Pam) and Amy; his stepchildren, Regina and Victor; and several grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Piedmont Baptist Church, 257 Penn Lake Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320.
