Howard Baughn, 81, of Stoneville, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Green Valley Medical Center in Greensboro.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends after the service.

Howard was born in Rockingham County on April 23, 1939, a son of Roger William Baughn and Martha Helen Carter Baughn, both deceased.  He was a veteran of the US Army and was retired from John Smith & Sons Construction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Louis Baughn and his brothers, David Baughn and John Clifton Baughn.

He is survived by his daughter, Trish Hughes and husband Scott of Elon; his sister, Mickie Webster and husband John of Stoneville; his sister-in-law, Dixie Baughn of Stoneville; and his grandson, Cody Robinson of Stoneville.
