Irene Elizabeth Kelley Willis, 95, of Eden passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home.

Mrs. Willis was born in Eden on June 3, 1926, a daughter of Perry Kelley and Sally Turner Kelly, both deceased.  She was retired from Lucent Technologies.

She is survived by her niece, Lee Ann Wray and her children, Dana Medlin and Daniela "DeeDee" Hannah; her great niece, Melissa Rumbley and husband Brian and their children, Nicholas and Emma;  her nephew, Donald Black; her special friends, Don and Jean Greeson, Jonathan Dale Wragg, Joseph Stanley and mother, Virginia Stanley.

The family would like to thank all of the Hospice personnel who have been with Irene and helped her over the last eight months.

A special thanks is extended to her caregiver, Irene Pittman.
