John Brandon Russell, 52, of Eden passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at UNC Rockingham Health Care.

A celebration of his life will be held from 2 until 4 pm on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will meet at other times at the residence.

Brandon was born in Eden on August 26, 1973, a son of Johnie Lee Russell and Andrea Velez.  He was the owner of Russell Dry Wall.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Wilson Russell of the home; his children, Sidney Russell of Eden and Hayden Fulp of Greensboro; his father, John Lee Russell (Joyce) of Reidsville; his mother, Andrea Velez of Eden; his siblings, Andrea "Tonya" Russell of Reidsville and Jayce Russell (Alex) of Reidsville; his grandson, Waylon Fulp; his nieces, India Taylor, and Katelin Jamison; his nephews, Nick Farris, Ezra Russell and Roman Jamison; and his great niece, Skylar Barrow.

Brandon was loved by everyone who knew him and cherished by his family.  After a fierce battle with pancreatic cancer, he passed away with his entire family surrounding him in love.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
